Founded by Richard Cropley, when he decided to inject his own product into his retail business Roof Rack City, in Sydney, Australia. Cropley’s designs were intended to be easier to install than what was available at the time. The company began to blossom after Toyota approached them to supply all the racks for their working trucks. Backed by the cash flow from Roof Rack City, Cropley was able to pour all his additional profits into research and development. After 20 years in business, Rhino Rack is now distributed across 30 countries, employing 160 people, and considered a world leader in automotive roof-top innovation.
