McLaren 570S Extreme Testing Before Shipping To Canada

Extreme Testing For McLaren 570S

McLaren has begun pre-production testing of the 570s, the beginning of their “sport series” which aims to bring their incredible vehicles to a wider market.

In preparation for the autumn launch of the 570s

Mclaren has released some new media showing off the extreme conditions in which their baby supercar has been tested (drifted?). You can expect to see these puppies hooning around Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver shortly after delivery, especially since McLaren’s latest spec video shows exactly how well the 570S handles snow and ice.

In their most recent press release, Andreas Bareis, Executive Director of Quality at McLaren Automotive stated,

The pre-production phase is one of the most important, and also one of the most demanding, in a productreadiness phase at McLaren. Up to this point, vehicles have been running in various locations around the world and subjected to some of the harshest conditions, and we are testing every component and system to the extreme. This final phase brings all testing together for the first time in a package that is representative of the cars our owners will be taking delivery of.

So will they be able to handle the record-breaking snowfalls of Nova Scotia? The first few Canadian deliveries may be the judge, because of course, if you can afford one, you can probably afford to winter one. Now enjoy the video and keep your fingers cross, maybe Santa will have one in his bag for you.
