Leaked Pricing Sheet Reveals Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 priced at $47,870

The new Shelby GT350 gets a competitive price tag. How will this snake compete against hellcats?

A leaked pricing sheet suggests that the base model for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 will begin from $47,870, and the price tag will be higher for the track-oriented R. This makes the vehicle a bit costly to afford for car lovers.

Although leaked sheets such as this are often found to be untrue, and hence met with some amount of doubts, Mustang6G has reported that the prices are true and are also being displayed in the Ford dealer system.

The GT350 promises to make jaws drop, with a one-of-a-kind carbon-fiber-intensive chassis, track-ready suspension and a flat-crank V8 engine which is able to churn over 520 hp of peak power.

Those who want to avail the base model will get a number of interesting options such as the Track and the Tech Packages. The Tech Package will come with dual-zone climate control, 8-inch touchscreen display, an advanced audio system and power-adjustable seats. It will come at a cost of $7,500. The Track Package will come with a price tag starting from $6,500 and come with additional coolers, stiffer springs, magnetic ride suspension and more.

The GT350R is anticipated to come with the majority of the updates included in the Track Package as its standard features. However, buyers who would like to have some of the electronic bells and whistles offered in the Tech Package can opt for a special Electronics Package from Ford that is set to come at a cost of $3,000. However, there is no exact information as yet about the offerings of this package.

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, and the GT350R, will see the light of the day in the present year. After these car batches are released into the market, Ford will turn its attention to the 2016 models which are planned to be constructed and sold in more numbers.
