Jeep to Offer 4-Inch Wrangler Lift Kit for Buyers

Jeep Performance Parts is set to offer a new 4-inch suspension lift next month for the buyers of the Wrangler.

While a 2-inch lift has been offered by Jeep for quite some time now, as has been found on the Jeep Chief Concept cars and the Wrangler Africa, a 4-inch kit is coming for the first time from the internal accessory line of Jeep. The 4-inch suspension lift will be made available from next month only for the Wrangler.

The kit was first unveiled at the 2015 Moab Easter Safari concepts of Jeep, although it was quite a hush-hush affair. Jeep knows that its Wrangler offers a terrific platform to buyers to improvise, customize and change into any type of combination that can suit them the best. This is exactly why the 2-inch and now the 4-inch kit is being offered.

The kit comes with a new yoke and front driveshaft, a steering damper, a high-steer conversion kit, lengthened brake lines, new control arms, remote-reservoir shocks and new springs other than the brackets that are needed for the setup process. The entire kit is available at a price of $2250. However, it can only be availed for the 4-door Wrangler of all versions, right from the 2007 version to the present one.

Other fresh upgrades from the stable of Jeep comprise of a beadlock wheel designed for 35-inch tires and costing $325, flat-top fender flares priced at $795, Dana 60 crate axles with one-ton truck disc brakes and electric lockers in the $4,000-$7,000 price range and a big-brake kit having dual piston calipers and 13-inch rotors and priced at $795.

The majority of the new components can be already availed for purchase. However, the 2-door fender flares and the 4-inch lift kit are anticipated to be shipped in the month of May.
