The new Jag SUV looks great, and it’s been proven in temperatures from -40 to +50 degrees celsius

Jaguar is bringing the heat… and the cold… to it’s new F-Pace

This morning Jaguar released images of their testing project for the upcoming F-Pace SUV. Given the record-breaking temperatures in Ottawa today (+34 degrees Celcius), it looks like they’re preparing for a large local customer base. Sandy or snowy conditions Jaguar wants you to have the optimal experience, as said in their press release,

“We developed the F-PACE to offer the ride, handling and refinement demanded from a Jaguar car, together with new levels of ability and composure on a variety of surfaces and weather conditions. Just as we paid obsessive attention to detail over the engineering of every single component, we’ve exhaustively tested the F-PACE in the most challenging conditions to ensure that it will exceed the expectations of our customers around the world,”

With that in mind they brought the best to Northern Sweden, where temperatures are often below -40C, to ensure all components and traction control systems will be optimized for even the most frigid Winnipeg January. On the opposite end of the spectrum the F-Pace was tested in Dubai, where the air is often +50 degrees or higher, and cabin temperatures can soar into the 70s. The sweltering desert was a test bed for their electronics and climate control systems, so even under the most intense sun you won’t burn your fingers or kill your dog.

Frankly, this is one of the best looking SUV concepts I’ve seen, and I don’t even care for these kind of vehicles. But even frozen solid it looks like the F-Pace will turn heads. Check out the gallery.
