Grab Your Limited Edition Lamborghini Veneno Online At $7.4 Million

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

A look at the completely outlandish and alien Veneno Roadster

A Limited Edition Lamborghini Veneno at $7.4 million – that alone is enough for an automotive enthusiast to do a double take and maybe, frown a little about the authenticity of the news. One of these supercars which have garnered enough attention from car lovers around the globe, is now listed on mobile.de.

What does the ad say?

There are nine Limited Edition Lamborghini Veneno Roadsters currently wowing masses and one of them is apparently up for sale via an ad on mobile.de. The price set for this masterpiece is $7.4 million and that too, including the 1996 VAT. Keeping the VAT out of the equation, the car still costs $6.2 million, which is a whopping $1.7 million hike from the original price of 4.5 million set by Lamborghini.

According to the ad, this is the last available Lamborghini Veneno Roadster which does make it even more exquisite, if that is even possible. Point to consider, though, is that no actual photograph or image of the said Lamborghini has been uploaded with the ad and this fact does raise questions about its legitimacy.

What does the car say?

As said earlier, it is a masterpiece. As rare as a coveted gem, the Veneno Roadster made quite the stir when it was debuted at the 2013 Auto Show, as a celebratory part of the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. Inspired by Aventador LP700-4’s monocoque, the Venono’s monocoque and body panels are entirely made from the supremely expensive carbon fiber. On the other hand, the interiors are all about lightweight material. Fashioned from Lamborghini’s unique forged composite material, the seatbacks deserve special mention.

However, nothing impresses more than the car’s aerodynamic outfit. Yes, the Roadster has inherited the sharp, polarizing style that is the brand’s trademark, but you won’t be able to help but stay glued to the aerodynamic design which explains the car’s insane performance. This Lambo can not only hit 221 mph, but also charge to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds. One might argue that the performance is almost irrelevant as the surprisingly small number of productions and the hefty price tag have ensured that a member of the common masses would never drive it. Then, it would seem that the aerodynamic lining along with the speedy skills are there just to justify its price.

What do we say?

Considering all that, and maybe a bit more of the amazingly lost list of specifications, the price quoted on mobile.de ad does seem justified. Now that you have a chance to grab one of these painfully rare ‘tour de force’, you might just go for it. It is time to see how authentic the ad is and whether anybody actually responds to it or not.
