Mercedes has revealed the next C63 AMG Coupe, almost a month before Frankfurt (IAA)

To ensure that all the German AMG powerfans are salivating at 100% by the time the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) opens in September, Mercedes has released a new batch of pictures featuring the stunningly muscular C63 AMG Coupe. From the looks of it they have aimed a seriously dangerous number of big guns at the BMW M3, let’s look at a chart with some numbers on it.

Wow those are some big numbers. Seriously look at that torque. If you’re ordering one, get a spare set of Michelins, cause they’re going to get chewed faster than a birch forest populated by espresso beavers.

Boasting that much power is pretty par for the course amongst the big three from Germany, but what really turned my head was the size of the tires. 255 in the front (WHAT?), that’s a 10 inch wide tire… in the FRONT. This thing promises to be sticky as Winnie The Pooh on a bender. Thanks a lot for that, Mercedes, now I’ll have to fit enormous winter tires on these bad boys for when they are inevitably gobbles up by wealthy Toronto-ites and Vancouver-isms.
